Brilango (info@brilango.com) is the data controller for this Site.
-
Summary
This Site is an informational website. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising technologies, and we do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
We do process a limited amount of personal data: information you choose to submit through our contact form, a cookie that remembers your language preference, and technical data recorded by our hosting infrastructure. Each is described below.
-
Information You Provide
If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, message, and — if you choose to supply it — the telephone number you enter. We store this submission and notify our administrators by email so that we can respond to you.
We use this information solely to handle and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to messages sent to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep submissions for as long as necessary to deal with and document the enquiry; you may ask us to delete yours at any time (see “Your Rights” below).
-
Cookies
We may store functional preference cookies — for example, to remember the language you have chosen — so the Site behaves the way you expect on later visits. The cookies we store do not identify you and are not used for analytics or advertising.
Third-party services described below may set their own cookies.
-
Server Logs and Technical Data
Our hosting provider, Google Cloud, may automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser type, and time of access as part of normal server operation and security. In addition, an approximate country is derived from your IP address so the Site can select a default language for your first visit; that result is cached briefly against your IP address and is not stored long term.
We do not access any of this data for marketing or profiling. Where such processing constitutes personal data handling under the GDPR, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention of hosting logs is governed by the provider's policy: Google Cloud Privacy Notice.
-
Third-Party Services
Every page loads typefaces from Google Fonts (
fonts.googleapis.com,fonts.gstatic.com). To deliver those files, your IP address and basic browser information are disclosed to Google. Our contact page additionally loads Google reCAPTCHA, which protects the form against automated abuse. reCAPTCHA collects device and interaction information and sets its own cookies in order to distinguish human visitors from automated ones. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse of the form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Both services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control what Google does with data collected through them.
-
Your Rights (EU/EEA/UK)
Under the GDPR/UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact us at info@brilango.com to exercise these rights.
-
Your Rights (United States)
Under laws including the CCPA/CPRA and comparable state statutes, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. The only personal information we collect is what you voluntarily submit through our contact form. We do not sell or share it, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not discriminate against anyone exercising these rights.
-
International Transfers
Our hosting and the third-party services described above may process data outside the EEA. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
-
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we knowingly collect no data from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our contact form, contact us and we will delete it.
-
Do Not Track
We do not track visitors across websites or build behavioural profiles, and we take no action in response to Do Not Track signals. The third-party services described above handle such signals according to their own policies.
